The Healing Gifts of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Presentations entitled “The Healing Gifts of the Blessed Virgin Mary” will be from the private revelations of the Blessed Virgin (approved by the Vatican) to various mystics over the centuries that will enhance prayers and meditations on the Rosary. Many Catholics have not been introduced to these holy revelations.
In addition there will be an introduction to contemplation by praying the Icons of Our Lady. Brother Daniel Korn, CSsR author of the book:”Embracing the Icon of Love”. will use the icon of Our Lady of Perpetua Help as an example. . A recent publication has introduced the power of healing by the Blessed Virgin through the use of Lourdes Holy Water (water from the grotto at Lourdes). Information on and copies of the prayer will be available as well as how to obtain the Lourdes Water. The water will also be available at the conference. For the contemplation of the Icon, pictures will be available. Some framed pictures will be available for purchase. |
Discernment and Deliverance
Speakers: several speakers TBA
Over the last few years priests and deacons have attended and completed the Pope Leo XIII Institute developing their knowledge and skills in the holy ministry of exorcism. The feedback has been positive and the learning applications about this holy ministry has been effective. I continue to receive phone calls from priests and deacons asking for additional help in the area of deliverance. This has been especially needed as the clergy are ministering in the sacrament of Penance and those attending the Institute for Priestly Formation learning the art of Spiritual Direction. Deacons are ministering in the ministry of deliverance and they ask especially for help in this particular ministry. To respond to the need we have scheduled a three- day conference at the Conference Center , Mundelein Seminary on discernment and deliverance. As more deacons enter this ministry under the direction of their Bishops they encounter a deficit in the necessary teaching needed to carry through effectively with this aspect of the ministry. Some have called as they have been seeking help from various sources and not feeling satisfied. Discernment is a gift of the Holy Spirit. Two speakers with a special depth of this gift will introduce it from their ministry experience. The conference is open to priests, deacons and their wives and laity who wish to deepen their prayer as intercessors in the holy ministry of deliverance. A panel of deacons blessed in the ministry will present. National speakers will aid attendees in the lay ministty of deliverance |
